Project Manager

Description

Triad is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated, and organized Associate Project Manager to support our Project Management Team in delivering high quality IT implementation service projects to government and commercial customers. Our ideal candidate will bring with them at minimum 1-2 years of experience with coordinating or managing small projects, the confidence to learn and develop customer relationships through clear and effective communication, as well as the eagerness to pursue a challenging career in Project Management. Overall Responsibilities

  • Provides support for the Project/Program Manager and Project Team as tasked
  • Tracks project schedule status via project plan updates
  • Assists the Program Management Organization (PMO) in new project setup activities and monthly invoicing preparations
  • Assists in drafting internal reports needed to reflect revenue and overall status for projects as needed
  • Shadow other Triad Project and Program Managers on active projects with the intent to learn Triad Program Management processes and gain experience towards becoming a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Serves as the liaison between the customer and the various internal groups on small implementation projects
  • Assist in the preparation of project communications documents such as PowerPoint presentations, Microsoft Project schedules, etc.
  • Attend project status meetings and capture meeting minutes and action items as needed
  • Assist with Capture Management activities for new bids and proposals

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong communication skills (orally and written); high level of comfort with phone communication
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work efficiently
  • Ability to work and task independently with minimal to moderate oversight
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, or a combination of the two is required
  • Deep experience with Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to learn and train on Microsoft Project, Visio, NetSuite and ServiceNow applications
  • Open to minimal overnight travel (<5%)
  • Open to moderate travel to local customers for meetings (between 2 and 8 days per month)
